Julia Poet is…an author, two-time award-winning poet, an academic honors university student, survivor, activist, optimist, public speaker, people lover, exercise enthusiast, and model from the East Bay Area.

When she’s not writing, Julia is happily living her life to the fullest extent. Her favorite activities include Pilates and Yoga classes, spending time with her friends, watching superhero or sci-fi movies with her dad and brother, reading inspiring memoirs or historical non-fiction and collections of poetry, exploring the sights, tastes, and excitement of San Francisco, and traveling. In her downtime, she enjoys cozy days with her beautiful cat Madam Curie (Curie for short, who keeps Julia company and busy).

Julia has been writing ever since she could hold a pen and is beyond grateful to be able to live out her dreams and passions.
